Read the full job description before offering. Personalise your message to show you understand the task. Be specific about your timeline and what is included in your price. Competitive pricing combined with a high rating wins more jobs.

How to Write an Effective Job Post

Include a clear title, detailed description of the task, location (or "remote"), your expected timeline, and a realistic budget range. Good job posts receive more high-quality offers faster.

Reviewing and Selecting the Right Helpa

Compare offers by looking at each Helpa's rating, number of completed jobs, review content, and their offer message. Don't just pick the cheapest — look for the best value. You can message candidates before committing.

Payments

Understanding Escrow and Payments

When you hire a Helpa, the agreed payment is held in secure escrow — neither party can access it until the job is done. Once you confirm completion, the funds are released to the Helpa automatically. This protects both sides from fraud.

How to Withdraw Your Earnings

Go to your Wallet → tap Withdraw → enter the amount and your bank details. Withdrawals are processed within minutes. Make sure your bank account details are correct and up to date in your profile settings.

Safety & Trust

Staying Safe on HandyHelpa

Always communicate through the in-app chat — this creates a record and keeps you protected. Never pay or receive payment outside the platform. For in-person jobs, share your location with a trusted contact and meet in visible, public areas first.

How to Resolve a Dispute

First, try to resolve the issue directly through in-app messaging. If that fails, open a dispute from the job page within 7 days of completion. Submit clear evidence (photos, screenshots, messages). Our team will review and issue a binding decision within 48–72 hours.
